IMPACT & RESEARCH

Proof begins in practice.

Good evidence tells us what happened, where, for whom and how we know. Our field stories keep those questions visible.

Kayamandi, South Africa · 2025 · Group 1, Report #1

Kayamandi · learning alongside practitioners

The report records a starting group of 35 teachers and principals representing 31 early childhood centres. Visits and workshops explored how the everyday environment could better support children’s activity.

What the evidence can tell us

Facilitator observations and follow-up visits describe changes such as bringing materials within reach and organising activities. These are contextual practice observations, not a controlled evaluation or evidence of long-term child outcomes.

Mkalama & Zanzibar, Tanzania · Field-report review pending

Tanzania · understanding each community

The supplied institutional brief identifies CoRE work in Mkalama and Zanzibar. The two locations should be understood as separate cohorts, with their own participation and completion records.

What the evidence can tell us

The underlying Tanzania report was not available in the located source set. Attendance, completion, reach and outcome figures are therefore withheld until their dates, denominators and methods can be checked.

Community-rooted education · An approach to learning

Facilitators · sustaining practice

A workshop is one part of a longer process. The CoRE approach connects learning with practical work, reflection and relationships that support educators in their own environments.

What the evidence can tell us

The model describes an approach, not a quantified result. Future reporting should distinguish people trained, mentoring delivered, changes observed and outcomes measured.
